KUWAIT: In the latest session of the GB Talks series, Yahya Qassem, Assistant Manager of the ATM Channel at Gulf Bank, highlighted a variety of exceptional services available to customers through the bank’s ATM and Interactive Teller Machines (ITM).

During his presentation, Qassem explained how customers can conveniently withdraw cash from ATMs using their mobile phones. By accessing the Gulf Bank mobile app and selecting the cardless withdrawal option, customers can enter the desired amount and phone number to generate a code, which can then be used to withdraw cash directly from an ATM. He also noted that customers can withdraw cash using their civil ID if they happen to forget their card.

He noted that Gulf Bank’s ATMs come equipped with NFC technology, enabling customers to complete transactions without inserting their card. By simply tapping their card near the designated area on the ATM, customers can withdraw or deposit cash without inserting the card. This feature helps reduce potential issues, such as forgetting their card in the machine.

Qassem highlighted the success of Gulf Bank’s digital transformation, which includes upgrading ATMs and ITMs across Kuwait.
