KUWAIT: Kuwait’s National Cybersecurity Center announced on Saturday that registration is now open for the Kuwait Hackathon 2024, set to take place on November 30 at Kuwait University’s Al-Shadadiya campus. The event is held under the patronage of Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Interior.

In a statement, the center explained that the competition is organized in collaboration with CODED, the first programming education academy in the Middle East, founded in Kuwait in 2015. The aim is to foster innovation among Kuwaiti youth and enhance their cybersecurity skills. The hackathon will feature workshops, training sessions, and exciting prizes for the winners.
