KUWAIT: Hawally Governor Ali Al-Asfar affirmed Kuwait’s keenness on providing the best medical services and keeping pace with the latest global developments in the medical field, noting that the health care sector is witnessing rapid growth, in addition to the availability of qualified medical cadres. Al-Asfar added in a press statement on Tuesday after visiting Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital in Jabriya and checking on patients that the efforts made by medical staff in hospitals, health centers, and specialized centers are tremendous.

He stressed the need to provide the necessary services to all patients, calling for enhancing cooperation between health authorities and the community to ensure quality services to all residents of Hawally Governorate. Director of Hawally Health District, Dr Mona Abdul Samad, said in a similar statement that the Ministry is working to develop the health system in line with the future vision and government’s directions to achieve a qualitative leap in the level of health services.

Abdul Samad explained that the Ministry seeks, in accordance with the vision (New Kuwait 2035), to provide public hospitals with the latest global medical devices and equipment to ensure a healthy life for citizens and residents while ensuring the highest quality standards. The hospital welcomes retirees at any time, allocating special times for them from 2 pm to 6 pm, providing all necessary medications, and is ready to serve them round the clock. — KUNA
