KUWAIT: The Ministry of Education organized on Monday a training program titled ‘Using Professional Standards to Improve Teacher Performance in Light of Future Competencies’ in cooperation with the Arab Center for Educational Training for the Gulf States (ACOG) affiliated with Qatar, Director of the Development and Advancement Department at the Ministry. Fahad Al-Hayyan praised in a press statement the fruitful cooperation between the Center and the Ministry, stressing the importance of exchanging expertise and continuous coordination to develop educational performance and improve its effectiveness in all member states.

For his part, Head of Program Implementation and Evaluation at the ACOG, Dr. Mohammad Al-Amir, explained that the program aims to familiarize participants with the latest international standards for teacher performance and the quality of education, expressing his appreciation for Kuwait’s hosting of this training program. The program was attended by Director of the ACOG, Dr Fatima Al-Maadeed, and lecturer Arafat Yassin from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in addition to a number of subject supervisors. — KUNA
