KUWAIT: Gulf Bank reaffirms its commitment to promoting sustainability within the community and encouraging widespread participation in sports through its continued collaboration with Suffix Event Management Company. Together, they are sponsoring the 10th edition of the Gulf Bank 642 Marathon, scheduled for November 30, 2024.

Najla Aleisa, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Gulf Bank, stated, “This year marks a decade of our partnership with Suffix Event Management Company in sponsoring the Gulf Bank 642 Marathon, which has established itself as Kuwait’s most significant sports and social event, and remains the only marathon in the country with international accreditation.”

She added, “We are eagerly preparing for another successful edition of the Gulf Bank 642 Marathon. This event transcends being a mere race; it serves as an invitation to incorporate exercise and walking into our daily routines. In light of the rising rates of diabetes, obesity, and heart disease in our local community, it is imperative to prioritize physical activity and embrace healthier lifestyles.”

Aleisa also emphasized Gulf Bank’s role as the title sponsor of the marathon, underscoring the Bank’s unwavering dedication to sustainability through social, economic, and environmental initiatives aimed at fostering positive change. She highlighted that the marathon stands as both a social and athletic event, uniting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds—an objective that aligns with Gulf Bank’s broader mission in all its initiatives.

Ahmad Al-Huzami, CEO of Suffix Event Management, expressed his pride in this enduring partnership, noting, “We are pleased to work alongside Gulf Bank to organize this outstanding sports and social event, which continues to gain popularity and participation each year, both locally and regionally.”
