KUWAIT: Kuwait Tomooh Sports Club for the Mentally Disabilities delegation left for Cairo, Egypt to participate in the 5th Heliopolis International Championship.

The championship includes swimming, equestrian, table tennis and athletics for all age groups. Tomooh Club players will participate in athletics and table tennis with three players over the age of 21, they are Mohsen Al-Mashmoum and Hassan Al-Mutawaa. Mohammad Rabee Al-Otaibi will participate in the 100 and 200 meter race.

The delegation is headed by the club’s Assistant Secretary Fahad Al-Sahly, Executive Director Huda Al-Khaldi and coach Bilal Al-Hamami.

Al-Sahly said Tomooh Club is keen on participating in this international event to give players the opportunity to get in touch with other athletes and improve their sport ability and form the integrated personality for the disabled and integrate them into the society.

He said the delegation has new players who will participate for the first time at the international level. He thanked the Public Authority for Sport for supporting the club’s activities. He also thanked the information ministry, civil aviations and the athletes guardians for standing behind the club and enabling it to carry out its mission towards helping the disabled.
